Eating a diet that is low in carbohydrates and high in fats may aid in weight loss, stabilise blood sugar, improve cognitive function and reduce the risk of heart disease. Below is my LCHF vegan smoothie that is focused on thyroid function and will keep you fuelled throughout the morning!

2tbsp activated chia seeds
½ cup purified water
handful of ice cubes
100g organic avocado
2 cups organic greens
1 cup almond milk
1 tsp organic matcha powder / moringa powder
1 tsp organic spirulina powder
1 tbsp organic MCT oil
1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp organic hemp seeds
1 tbsp mixed nuts or granola
• 2 Medjool dates
• Handful of fresh fruit, chopped.


  1. Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend on high speed for 2-4 minutes into a smooth consistency with no lumps.

  2. Pour into a bowl and sprinkle with toppings!
