“My mat is my canvas and Yoga is my art”
ASHTANGA YOGA ~ is an extremely deep and meaningful practice… I collaborated with Nathalie Daou from Dubai on the 25th January 2020. It was an intense week filled with 4hrs of ASHTANGA yoga, intimate circles and lots of rainbow food.
On the 10th of January 2020, I collaborated with Katarzyla from Poland who is a Vinyassa yoga instructor and meditation teacher. We joined forces in the tropics of Sri Lanka for Sixteen days of yoga, food, sound journeys, meditation and a lot of internal healing!
I arrived in Sri Lanka on the 1st of November 2019 to be a private chef for 3 Polish families with kids! After traveling for weeks without any time in the kitchen, it took a couple hours to get my bearings straight! Its very important for me to sit down with my clients and create a menu based around their favourite fruits and vegetables and most importantly their favourite flavors.
On the 1st of September, I flew to Nepal and the adventure into the Chitwan mountain began! After 2 planes, a 7 hour bus and a 4×4 jeep safari, I landed in a luscious forrest surrounded by 12 majestical Elephants. Tiger Tops is the first operation in Nepal to provide a truly ethical elephant experience. They promote conservation awareness and aim to have the least possible impact on the surrounding environment. Not only are they a pioneer of sustainable tourism, they also engage with the local Ammaltari community by providing jobs at the lodge and funding their own Tiger tops Pre school. They provide over 130 students with uniforms, school supplies and education as well as providing teacher salaries.
Luuna collective was founded by Emma and Jasmine who are both living in Sri Lanka, fuelled by the practices of Yoga. Their mission is to build a feeling of support and community that encourages and elevates our Sisters. Their retreats are a container for meaningful connection, inspiration, wellness, renewal and gratitude with the intent to heal, recharge and awaken your full potential.
